Old Meets New–With a collection inspired by the 1970’s art house movement as well as British painter Lucian Freud, comfort label Oliver Spencer delights the runway during London’s latest fashion week. Sorting through an eclectic lot of faces, Spencer’s men don a collection that strongly incorporates pristine cuts, knitwear and a splash of color with bold hues. Among the various looks are patterned baseball jackets, fairisle, cardigans and much more including a debonair spread of boots and loafers for a collection that daringly combines a vintage feel with the gratuitous tailoring of today.

Sunshine Days–Enjoying a day of leisure, Kevin Freed and Rodrigo Calazans are photographed by Oscar Falk for Gant by Michael Bastian’s spring/summer 2012 campaign. Time Capsule–The recent turbulent economic times causes Ana Locking to look back to the 1920’s and the Great Depression of 1929 for the inspiration to her fall/winter 2012 collection. Redefining the structured tailoring of the time for the modern age, suiting serves as the collection’s main vehicle, steering the label in a more formal direction than usual. As semi-fitted trousers are pleated and paired with waistcoats as well as jackets, bright colors are infused for a cheerful spin.
