Home vs Away–Danish menswear label Soulland looks to a mid-nineteenth century Japanese baseball game for the inspiration of their fall/winter 2013 collection. Particularly drawn to the art of Japanese baseball cards from the early 1900s to the 1960s, Soulland decorated the collection’s oxford shirts with hand-drawn prints. Embracing a color palette of off-white, gray, navy, royal blue and magenta, the outing produced a lineup of suits, cut from a wool mix. Collaborating with accessories brand Adax, travel bags, laptop sleeves, wallets and more were created to match the collection’s theme.
