Byblos is the latest label to join others like Marni, who have opted for a presentation instead of a runway show. Their lineup consisted of oversized knits, outerwear, and scarves made of thick wool. Trousers remained on the lean side. The small collection can best be described as hobo chic — perfect for the breadline and by breadline, I mean that inevitable sale at Barneys, which will leave you in dire need of needing to visit a real soup kitchen. Fashion — it’s a vicious cycle!
