Spring 2010 | Daniel Palillo — “Renaissance”

For his fall col­lec­tion, designer Daniel Palillo gave color a try, but why fix some­thing that is not bro­ken? This sea­son, Palillo returns to his two favorite col­ors – black and white. Although his color selec­tions may be safe, his designs are not. Over­size as always, Palillo deliv­ers another out­landish col­lec­tion with the cre­ative type in mind. Graph­i­cally, the col­lec­tion dishes Palillo’s sig­na­ture mor­bid prints, while mak­ing room for larger than life polka dots. How­ever, in typ­i­cal Palillo fash­ion, these are no ordi­nary polka dots, but dis­torted in a fun fash­ion – most like the sense of humor that is found in his collections.
