Marc Jacobs approaches spring of next year with flair and finesse. The col­lec­tion main­tains its fair share of slim sil­hou­ettes, but it also offers roomier, lounge-​​ready gar­ments that sug­gest the ulti­mate com­fort. The range is put together in a chic man­ner, but it avoids being stuffy with youth­ful ven­tures into col­or­ful prints and detailed pleat­ing. In a move to break away from tra­di­tional suit­ing pieces, the blazer is rein­ter­preted as a motor­cy­cle jacket, while an effort is made to work var­i­ous col­or­ways of denim together for a lax look. How­ever, against this back­drop of care­free gar­ments, the dom­i­nant color palette is restricted to a safe mix of black, navy and cream. In this fash­ion, the col­lec­tion is able to dis­tin­guish itself in fit and cut, while still being eas­ily inte­grable into any spring wardrobe.
