Spring 2010 | Victor Glemaud

Vic­tor Glemaud’s fall col­lec­tion was about somber col­ors and the grad­ual unrav­el­ing of clothes. The col­lec­tion was well-​​done, but it is relief to see Gle­maud return to bright poppy col­ors for spring. This sea­son, Glemaud’s sig­na­ture knits take a back­seat to col­lab­o­ra­tive pieces. Spawn­ing a great selec­tion of swim­ming trunks in both vibrant and pas­tel col­ors, Gle­maud has joined up with Quick­sil­ver as well as Git­man Bros. for shirts and Mack­in­tosh for coats. With all these col­lab­o­ra­tions on hand, it is nice to see such a tal­ented designer be pre­sented with the oppor­tu­nity to grow their business.
