“Inspired by the “Dance of Death” paintings, and the idea of the last evening of an opulent man’s life. It was about men eveningwear but avoiding the tuxedo, finding an other way to dress men elegantly. I work a lot around cuts, and I tried to extend normal lines of tailoring into something more about fluidity, I also work quite a lot around textures and ornaments, and how ornament can become shape.”
