This will probably result in a “Gee. What were you thinking?”, but at the moment I am feeling these knitted headbands from Topman. I have yet to think of how to pull one off, but the prospects of doing it well is exciting. Before my head hits my pillow, I’m almost positive I will have given in and ordered one.
On another note, while digging around the Topman site, I noticed a link for US customers. When I clicked it, the sales link disappeared, so I’m hoping that the opening of the New York Topman means that items will now be shipped domestically within the United States. Sounds exciting!
Levi; a reader, was kind enough to email me and share some information about the Danish label Annhagen. The designer behind Annhagen is Dianna Opsund Bay. Bay started the line in 2004 and is slowly expanding her presence internationally. Her main stockists are currently in Scandanavia, Japan, and France. [Danish Fashion Institute] The name Annhagen is a combination of the “ann” from her name and the “hagen” comes from Copenhagen; where she is from. Levi was also gracious enough to upload some images from her past collections. Annhagen’s 2007 fall collection stood out to me because of the styling. I LOVE how the socks are worn and how they are an integral part of the outfit. I like to wear my socks similarly when it gets cold. It’s a nice attention to detail. Wondering what socks you need to achieve this look? Think hiking/military issue socks; particularly wool.
