Rainy Day–Photographed by Marcelo Krasilcic, Jesse Shannon springs into action for a playful story in 10 Men. From the studio to the rainy outdoor setting of New York City, the Request model is forever stylish, clad in pieces from stylist Benjamin Sturgill.

2011–It’s hard to believe that what started as a personal outlet has grown to 2,491 pages of content, totaling 12,439 posts and produced a new child, growing quickly — the print magazine. Marking the last post of the year, I just wanted to take a break in between another cup of coffee and far too many projects to say thanks for all the support. First and foremost, thanks to the daily readers who share common obsessions — and moving on — to all that make everything possible…the model bookers who never cease to amaze with the constant packages of available boys to work with, the models themselves and putting up with sometimes crazy clothes, in which I owe another thanks to the stylists and the labels who have so graciously opened up their doors. Moving on, the far too little celebrated, thanks to the great hair stylists and makeup artists. And to those I have personally worked with, thanks for putting up with my a little goes a long way. Finally a special thanks to all the photographers I have come in touch with, whether it is producing work or sharing a new creation. Here’s to 2012, new collaborations and even greater work ! — Carl
P.S. And for good measure, why not include a shameless plug — why not celebrate the new year by ordering the latest issue of the magazine — eh ? All good intentions lead here… Happy New Year !

Campaign Leverage–No doubt cashing in his credit as an undeniable top model, Jon Kortajarena came out on top this year with the most lucrative year, featured in a great number of campaigns; two of which were for fragrances. From playing favorite to both Tom Ford and Jean Paul Gaultier to racking up two campaigns for DKNY, Jon was a constant presence this year, whether in front of the lens of Mert & Marcus or Inez & Vinoodh.

Editorial Obsession–Flipping through magazines and thumbing through a great amount of editorial material, the wish list is fast growing and inspiration endless. Tasked with a new editorial, the formula to success often includes the perfect garments, the right face and achieving the ideal mood. From a cover snagging David Gandy in a cinched black coat and a squeaky clean Victor Nylander in front of the lens of Emilio Tini to cheek and circumstance, a year of editorials provided seamless personality.

In the Moment–Making a colorful statement, Saty + Pratha photograph Arthur Olecki (Select) and Dan Felton (Elite London) for the winter/spring 2012 print issue of Fashionisto. / Styling by Russell Philip Peek. Order issue here.

Love Boy–Izaio model Daniel Donskoy connects with Israel-based photographer Eran Levi for a story, boasting an enchanting allure, complemented by an eclectic wardrobe. Beaming with personality, Daniel plays an intimate hand, adding several of his own pieces to the mix for interesting results.
