Thom Browne Spring 2012 | Paris Fashion Week

Browne Extrav­a­ganza–A friend to gen­eral non­sense, Thom Browne finds the inspi­ra­tion for this season’s spec­tac­u­lar stag­ing in imagery from the cabaret. Adorn­ing his trade­mark suit­ing with fringe and length­en­ing sil­hou­ettes, only to be fin­ished with long beaded stands of pearls, an auda­cious col­lec­tion finds its voice in striped abnor­mal­i­ties. From high struc­tured sleeves to wide shapes or jilted pro­por­tions, Browne tests the line of rea­son­able more so than ever with a lineup that still man­ages to pack an impres­sive tai­lored line along­side the bridal veil.
