Boys on Film–If we went back to school, we’d likely be that annoying overachiever and we wouldn’t have it any other way. With a special thanks above all to our photographer for the day, Nikolai de Vera and the agencies who provided the talent, ADAM, Aim, DNA, Ford, Fusion, Major, New York Models, Next, Q, Red, Request, Soul and Wilhelmina, here’s a grand sampling of our favorite boys of the season: Paul Boche, Chris Garcia, RJ King, Erik Sage, Chris Colton, Leebo Freeman, Miles McMillan, Adnan Djinovic, Maxwell Ronko, Luka Badnjar, Lowell Tautchin, Chris Arundel, Elvis Jankus, Francisco Lachowski, Baptiste Radufe, Jordan Torres, Joao Zavaski, Julian Sapala, Eden Classens, Chris Petersen, Lance R, Roy Pratt, John Tuite, Benoni Loos, Zach King, Louis Mayhew, Jae Yoo, Reinaldo Berthoti, Matthew Hitt, Brett Staal, Colt Maldonado, Glenn Galleghan, Jacob Morton, Kaylan Falgoust, Alexander Beck, Mario Skaric, Jackson, Connor Stanley, Bastien Bonizec, Jake Gordon, Jed Texas, Eryck Laframboise, Sen Mitsuji, Dale Toogood, Lucas Goossens, Rob Evans, Matt Giesler, Samuel Farrier, Louis Galloway, Adrian Cardoso, Sebastian Sauve, Berthold Rothas, Vincent Banic, Brennen Steines, Joe Hartmann, Cesar Chiang, Luis Borges, Arthur Devalbray, Brian Redford, Petter Hedman, Austin Hall, Rich Stinger, John R, Hampus Luck, Seven, Thiago Santos, Jordan and Zac Stenmark.

The Finale–Bringing us to a grand finish, Cesar Chiang and Luis Borges were the final models to cross our paths. Cesar came to our attention this past April, so if course we were thrilled to hear he was up for VMAN’s annual collaboration with Ford to find the next top face. He may not have won, but the Cuban import has found a place on Ford’s board and we look forward to upcoming work. Last but not least was Portugal’s Luis Borges, aka that model with the fantastic hair that you cannot help but recognize. Signed to DNA (thank you!), Luis has a shoot in store for our next issue and a little bird tells us that the city will call him back sooner than expected. And now with that, we have wrapped our massive casting session. Special thanks to Nikolai for making it through a long day, all the bookers who sent their boys and if course the models who made it down to 28th. And, we may just have another trick up our sleeve, but in the meantime, scroll on over here to revisit all our casting posts. / Photos by Nikolai de Vera.

Casting Frenzy–It’s the weekend before fashion week and you have a day to kill. What do you do? Well, as any rational person would do, you call in eighty boys from all the agencies and have a casting session. After all, there’s an entire magazine that needs to be cast. So, have at it, some of our favorite faces from ADAM, Request, Ford, New York Models Management, Wilhelmina, Red, DNA, Soul, Next, Fusion, Major, Aim and Q. More to come, if course…

Discovered at a Basketball Game–About two months ago, we introduced Zodiac fresh face Rick Xavier and now to the fray, the boutique agency adds Cesar Chiang to their ranks. While Rick is on his way to Europe soon for placement, Cesar is at the beginning of his career, in between studying to become a veterinarian. Born in Cuba, the Cuban/Chinese model will hopefully make his way to New York soon.
