Tim Hamilton Fall 2011 Preview | Mercedes-​​Benz Fashion Week

Tonight, Tim Hamil­ton showed his new fall col­lec­tion at the Stan­dard Hotel, look­ing to a revolv­ing ros­ter of three sets of mod­els to dis­play both menswear and wom­enswear. Mix­ing and match­ing style aes­thet­ics this sea­son, Hamilton’s final selec­tion blurred the line between scrappy youth and a mod­ern refine­ment. From provoca­tive tees and thick soled shoes to sports­wear, the col­lec­tion high­lighted a casual foot for­ward. How­ever, Hamilton’s knack for the tidy reared itself in a lineup of knits and jack­ets con­structed with a relaxed hand, but echo­ing an atti­tude all about the tai­lored details. /​ Pho­tos by Carl Bar­nett (The Fashionisto)
