Unconditional’s fall 2008 collection is spot on. I love the layering and the use of burgundy. The variety of silhouettes is enticing and a nice example of how to easily transition between wide legged and slim pants. The cuts of the outerwear is excellent and the accessories add great depth. I’ll definitely be checking this collection out when it hits stores this fall.

Fall merchandise is trickling into several stores and I cannot wait to see the bulk of it. There are so many excellent collections this season. I’ve been considering the purchase of a bag from the Raf Simons x Eastpak collaboration and it’s definitely going to happen this season. The pricing of the first collection was astronomical, but as you can see by the pricing on Matches, the prices are now much more appropriate.

Filippa K always has such nice, sleek, classic pieces. I love the boxy shape of the first coat. I can’t wait to see some pieces from the rest of the collection. There is always a piece that stands out. I’m still torturing myself for not picking up their storm jacket from last year.
Usually, I don’t pay much attention to Trovata, but this collection caught my interest. It’s so clean and versatile. Not to mention, their price point is quite reasonable. I’ll need to scope out the duffel coat pictured when their line hits stores. I already have one, but what’s the fun in not having coats you virtually do not wear. I kid, I kid. However, I do wish that the peacoat featured was produced minus the elbow pads. I’ve been in search of the perfect peacoat since last fall and have yet to find one.
