Young, fit and armed with classic good looks, James Hampson makes for the perfect Valentino man as the label moves forward in a modern direction. Giving their timeless expertise in tailoring a refreshing new spruce, the label looks to leather and studs to add a young edge. From buttery soft leather carryalls and striking eveningwear to a surprisingly simple array of denim, Valentino manages to balance a strong heritage built on the classics with a much needed contemporary twist.

Photographed by Kirill Arseniev, LMA model Evgenii Kolotov fronts Leonid Alexeev Homme’s fall 2010 lookbook. Strong on outerwear, the collection blends traditional shapes with an avant-garde flair for fashion. Progressing an evolution of silhouettes and textures, a fitted wardrobe is rounded out by irregular shapes that lend a certain elegance unexpected chaos.
