
One Step to Tomorrow–Pringle of Scotland designer Alistair Carr set his sights on an easy mode for the fall/winter 2012 season. Peppered with the occasional print, the collection became largely about those essential separates to survive the season, but with style. Mixing the label’s knack for knits with impressive outerwear, the range served as the perfect blueprint to the season. From oversize outerwear with minimalist detail to leather pants and a degree brash fashion, Pringle of Scotland’s fall 2012 collection enveloped the careful trendsetter with a remarkable restraint.

Uncertain Times–German Ruiz, Jeremy Wardlaw, Luciano Buttendorf, Nick Marini and Paul Boche are photographed by Jeff Bark for the latest edition of New York-based magazine Bullett. Styled by Sah D’Simone, the eclectic lot are clad in the likes of Maison Martin Margiela and Gucci for a dark tale of battle.

Shady–Great color bursts forth as WWD fashion editor Alex Badia hones in on sunglasses and printed wears for the upcoming spring season. Dressed in the a wardrobe of Louis Vuitton, Versace and Burberry Prorsum as well as other labels, ADAM model Leebo Freeman joins Request’s Jeremy Wardlaw for the electric set of photos, captured by the lens of Eli Schmidt. / Hair by Enrico Mariotti with makeup by Robert Greene.

Simple Edge–A little raw around the edges, Dominic Louis’ man continues a trek that is wholly his own. Dressed in neutrals, Louis’ lead mixes the accessible with the bold, transitioning from an elongated plaid shirt, loose light-weight tops and cuffed trousers to more daring pieces. Whether it is trousers that billow or a pair that are laced from hem to hem, the collection exudes a notion of simplicity, perfected in its own world with a couple of deconstructed garments joining more finished alternatives.
