Relaxed Ceremony–ADAM models John Tuite and Shane Gambill put on a sinister smile for Opening Ceremony’s spring/summer 2012 lookbook. Modeling their latest collection for a bright weekend getaway, vivid colors and classic prints dress an easy wardrobe of t-shirts, shorts and other contemporary pieces.

Playing the Eyes–Rochester-based photographing duo Brett & Lucy took a trip to New York City for fashion week and returned with a couple polished snapshots of ADAM model John Tuite. John dons a personal look which includes graphic tees, pullovers and black denim for a take on modern metro style. / Grooming by Jessica San Fillipo.

ADAM–Harvey Haydon and Leebo Freeman lead ADAM’s lineup for the fall/winter 2012 show season. Continuing a trendy wave of new faces to watch out for, the men’s board is filled with strong promising talents. Returning from his first season in Paris and ready for his second stab at New York Fashion Week, John Tuite is joined by recent ADAM recruits Clement Soulas and Alex Mildner. Adding to the mix, Gaetano Martelli and Ian Jones, fantastic faces are abound for an interesting fashion week turnout.

School of Lim–3.1 Phillip Lim made the return to its youthful zest for the label’s Parisian show. Reinventing influences from the sixties, designer Phillip Lim churned out desirable separates at an unwavering moment’s notice. Laced with fun, baseball jackets, transparent duffel coats and sleeveless suit numbers contributed to the collection’s identity. Embracing a digital motif and putting his boys in creepers, Lim produced an army of angst-ridden style aficionados. Parading a dominant palette of white with bursts of varied colors, pleated fitted trousers fit right in alongside an eclectic convergence of styles for a rewarding fall season.

Models in Paris–The new season is nearly here again and you know Paris Fashion Week is looming because all the boys are back in town for castings before heading to Milan and coming back to Paris for the shows … So here kicks off the second season of an exclusive ‘Casting Call Diaries’ story at the men’s Paris Fashion Week castings for The Fashionisto ! For this first day of model ‘hunting’, the targets included the castings for John Lawrence Sullivan, Balenciaga and Damir Doma … Walking between the different casting places in pretty miserable winter rainy weather didn’t actually prove to be as enjoyable as my first experience in that matter last June, but with luck and patience I finally ended up catching some very relevant preys who regularly grace the international runways and magazines such as Jacob Coupe, Dan Kling, River Viiperi, Sebastian Sauve, Harry Goodwins, Adrian Cardoso, David Agbodji, Joan Pedrola etc, along with new faces Dominic Nutt, Miguel Batista, John Tuite, Andras Kajari or Jake Shortall amongst others … To be continued …

WhyNot–Making a casting director’s job less difficult, WhyNot pulls out all the stops with a consistent showing of irresistible options. As the last year has shown, David Gandy is unstoppable – racking up two major covers and continuing to play a strong suit to Dolce & Gabbana’s image. Meanwhile, there is Arthur Kulkov, a one fits all type of model and a blast to have around – followed by those standout editorial boys like Jacob Coupe and Alexander Johansson, who easily transition from the runway, walking coveted spots for labels such as Prada to fronting campaigns for a myriad of brands. From Garrett Neff to Aiden Andrews and Adam Senn, the recognizable faces are offered in plenitude and short of a world disaster, it looks like the men of WhyNot are going to have full charts.
