Age Uomo Nuovo–Root model Bobby Warden dons the debut collection of New York-based label Rivenoir. Designed by Renato Cavero, who boasts a resume that includes work at Thierry Mugler, Catherine Malandrino and other labels, the new lineup mixes function with fantasy. Taking to tailored shorts, shirting and other pieces, acute attention to detail provides for a season of character. From bold print work and draped proportions to a penchant for unusual embellishments, Rivenoir embraces the spring season with an arresting new voice.

Autumn Classicism–Massimo Dutti taps Sight model Ollie Edwards for their October lookbook update. Photographed against a wood base, dark autumn colors are accented by classic cuts. From a shearling accented leather jacket and cords to tweed outerwear, the label delivers another round of tradition, rolled out in contemporary fits.

Country Tidings–Balmain Homme warms up to the country charms of Ford model Paolo Anchisi for their spring 2012 efforts, photographed as usual by Karim Sadli. With art direction by Atelier Franck Durand, Paolo is caught in the cross-hairs of simple country living and the draw of the city as he dons designer Olivier Rousteing’s first collection for the label. Pulled together with an evolving style that easily makes the transition from casual to formal, Balmain Homme’s new range evokes the sophistication of an evening out with a white tuxedo, while drawing in the edge of its youthful image with textured leathers. Paired with denim, sleeveless waistcoats and jackets alike, Balmain Homme comes full circle for spring, showcasing impressive offerings, making for a stellar debut from Rousteing.
