A Story of Outerwear–Fashion editor Nik Piras (ArtList) pulls together a rich fall wardrobe of outerwear, featuring the latest from Yves Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein Collection and other labels for yet another editorial for Velvet magazine. Teaming up with Matthew Brookes, the photographer once again tackles a large cast, for an infectious outing that stars Benoni Loos, Jamie Wise, Adnan Djinovic, Richard (Major Paris), Alex Poots, Adrien Volkova and Mathias Holst.

Kommanding Minimalist–With minimalism ever so prominent, the importance of tailoring and a sharp silhouette remain to be the core fundamentals at Filippa K. The elegant lines of contemporary suiting and the functionality of heavy duty outerwear collectively evoke a modern flair for the 21st century gentlemen. From color blocked knits to masculine peacoats, the Filippa K man maintains a balance between classic and contemporary sportswear with a commanding style. / Modeled by Mathias Holst of Success.

The Cerruti Brotherhood–Paolo Roversi captures a somber outing from Cerruti for the label’s fall 2011 campaign. A tale of brotherhood and a morning return from a Parisian night out, the campaign stars Axel Miraton, Jakob Hybholt, Mathias Holst, Maxime Bergougnoux and Roman Duvigneau, who are styled by Martine de Menthon with creative direction by Zoran Bosanac.

Defined by a narrow perspective, there is not much to say about the Julius man that has not been said before. However, dark, urban and aloof, the latest from Julius designer Tatsuro Horikawa appeals to a wide audience in part or as a whole. Dissected, soft airy silhouettes offer menswear a gentle variety, while as an ensemble, the Julius man can be seen as combative – even dangerous. Covered in oversize pockets and a chaotic field of straps, spring’s collection provides the tools to navigate through a modern jungle, whether imaginative or literal. Altogether, consistent and carefully crafted, Julius dismisses the hustle and bussle of the outside world with a genuine approach to a pure existence.

Shooting for Dedicate once more, Damien Blottière photographs Chris Rayner, Mathias Holst and Jean Mauvais for the French magazine’s winter issue. Styled by Yoko Miyake with hair taken care of by Nicolas Eldin, the infectious trio turn out a boyish editorial that is positively endearing.
