“Short sleeve cardigan with rolled edges and safety pin closure. Relaxed fit.”
I love finding those pieces that are different, yet still easy to incorporate into nearly any outfit. The nonchalant draping of this knit and the final touch of a safety pin is so chic. Acne also carries this style modified in a cardigan form, but with the addition of sleeves, the piece becomes too heavy. The short sleeves are very appropriate for spring and they add to this knit’s appeal.
“Fitted suit jacket made out of fine English wool. This jacket has a light, transparent quality to it and is completely unstructured, giving it a casual yet very fashionable look.”
I recommend this jacket as the pefect compliment to sheer layering pieces from the likes of Rick Owens and Ann Demeulemeester. Since those pieces also tend to be long, this pairing would give you ample opportunity to play with varying lengths.

Landscape with the Fall of Icarus
William Carlos Williams
According to Brueghel
when Icarus fell
it was spring
a farmer was ploughing
his field
the whole pageantry
of the year was
awake tingling
with itself
sweating in the sun
that melted
the wings’ wax
unsignificantly
off the coast
there was
a splash quite unnoticed
this was
Icarus drowning

Apparently, A.P.C. thinks their new spring collection is orgasmic. I’ll let you be the judge of that. View here.
Pudel has completed their spring update and now the new collection is available for purchase on their website. The vest in the upper left picture is one of those pieces not to waste any deliberation time on. It’s light, the proportions are great, and ultimately, it is the perfect spring layering piece.
Acne recently posted new spring merchandise online and the miniature collection is ridiculously infectious. If you have the money, why not? Tinies are only tinies once.
