It’s that time of year again. As usual, Top­man has teamed up with a small group of tal­ented design­ers for their LENS col­lec­tion. This year’s col­lec­tion fea­tures the usual sus­pects: Dex­ter Wong, Kasper Harup-​​Hansen, Mjölk and Car­olyn Massey. Tak­ing a quick glance at the col­lec­tion, this season’s hot num­ber is sure to be Wong’s take on the fur jacket – stay posted for sale dates.

JC de Castelbajac Launches Diffusion Line

Hop­ing to cap­ti­vate a younger mar­ket, quirky French label Jean-​​Charles de Castel­ba­jac is launch­ing a dif­fu­sion line called JCDC. Spring 2010 marks the debut of the line, which will be pre­sented in Lon­don on Sep­tem­ber 17, 2009. Mod­el­ing the line will be vir­tual unknowns dis­cov­ered through Jalouse and Dazed & Con­fused mag­a­zine appli­cants. (WWD)

Christian Westphal Spring 2010 Preview

Dan­ish designer Chris­t­ian West­phal will be show­ing his col­lec­tion for the first time in Tokyo dur­ing October’s Japan Fash­ion Week. The upcom­ing col­lec­tion is inspired by the Ger­man children’s book, The Shock­headed Peter. It’s far too early to give too much away, but the quirky col­lec­tion does have a fun time explor­ing a child’s imag­i­na­tion, where night­mares are a real­ity and shapes know no bounds.
