Brit Invasion–British tailoring meets a collegiate theme for the latest show from Tommy Hilfiger. Following prep-bred students of the east coast, the fall/winter 2013 collection brushes up on sportswear fundamentals with a modern twist in construction. Prince of Wales checks and houndstooth are manipulated, covering outerwear, creating trim and accenting an innovative foray. Adding a little edge with a 1960′s reference, touching upon the Beatles and Mick Jagger, slim tailoring creates a young element.
