Hypebeast recently posted about the latest Undercover collection by designer Jun Takahashi. Takahashi’s spring collection is perfect for those of us who suffer from split personalities when it comes to fashion. Fashion on a daily basis can get complicated. A never ending question is whether to play it safe or to be edgy? It seems like there is a time and place for everything. Takashashi sees that. The first part of his collection called “Neoboy” plays it safe with stylish pieces, but conservative looks when it comes to the world of fashion. On the other hand, Takashashi pulls all the stops out for “Neoboy’s” foil titled “Poptones.” “Poptones” plays with prints, textures, as well as matte and shiny finishes. “Neoboy” is fiitting for day wear, while “Poptones” is perfect for afterhours. This leaves you to ponder the question…Are you a “Neoboy” or a “Poptones” boy?

    I approach that obstacle with how I feel. Do I feel like putting in effort to put together a daring look or do I feel lazy where I want to slip into the simple basics. But, yes…the looks do merge often.
