Designer and Project Runway judge Zac Posen graces the cover of Delta Sky’s November 2015 issue. Posen’s next big fashion endeavor is redesigning the Delta uniform. Talking about the major undertaking, Posen shares, “I think we’re going to deliver something very surprising and very chic and timeless.” He continues, “I want something that evokes the great nostalgia of commercial air flying–and to where we’re going in the future.”
Talking about the highlights of designing for Delta, Posen explains, “For me, this is such a huge honor. It’s one of the biggest creative opportunities I’ve had so far. It’s like designing for a country. How do you create unity while people still feel comfortable within their own person? Designing for different body types, for comfort, for feeling poised, stylish, trustworthy, feeling authority in the clothing, essential safety. These are just some of the components that I have to put together.”
