Modern Greaser3.1 Phillip Lim gravitates closer to streetwear with his latest collection that adopts a cool philosophy for the fall/winter 2013 season. Creating the image of the modern greaser, Lim continues to tweak his menswear standards, infusing pieces with a contemporary attitude. Ready to jump on a motorcycle, the man of Phillip Lim takes to trousers and jackets alike featuring patch work. Reworking slim silhouettes, the iconic rebel’s inclination for leather is reinterpreted with panels and patches. Juxtaposed with tailored garments such as pinstripe trousers or a double-breasted blazer, leather rears its head again with sportswear essentials that include the sweatshirt, this time around cut askew for a unique finish.
