Finding Urban Grounding–3.1 Phillip Lim may have found Baroque inspiration for the season, but the results are a lineup of garments that boast clean lines while brushing up on modern streetwear silhouettes. Opening the show with hues in cream and white, garments were oversized and layered with ease. From crisp shirting with pointed collars and large boxy halved sleeves to spacious shirts that could double as jackets, Lim demonstrated a fine eye for comfort. Appearing more youthful as the collection, progressed, Lim’s man earned his street cred with prints and patches, adorning a collection that immediately felt more sporadic. Here, tapered blocked pants, pattern covered jackets and logo accented t-shirts made the rounds, demonstrating a final blend of sleek and rebellious styles.
