A Hint of the Future–Eastpak taps recent Central Saint Martins graduate Nicomede Talavera for their latest accessories collaboration. Creating a ten-piece range to accompany his most recent collection, the designer looked to the book Least Wanted; A Century of American Mugshots and George Lucas’ film THX 1138 for inspiration. Bridging the disheveled hand-me-down tendency of the common criminal’s wardrobe with the futuristic nature of Lucas’ world, Talavera puts the characters at odd, creating great contrast within a collection of fitted and loose proportions.
