Todd Snyder Pre-Fall 2020 Collection

American brand Todd Snyder unveils a smart new pre-fall 2020 collection that pays homage to the fashions “gone by.” The original “Rebel Without a Cause” and the looks of the 50s set the tone for the season. However, Todd Snyder presents clothing for different occasions.

The label’s latest range offers a fun take on the leading men of the late 1950s: recall Cary Grant in the film classic, “To Catch a Thief.” These men were approaching their lives, crafts, hobbies, and style with an incredibly unique spirit. They had the personality types that interestingly enough, did not fall too far away from the tree and were similar to those of the rockabillies that came before them.

Shirts, polos, pleated pants, and jeans are staples for Todd Snyder’s pre-fall collection. While the season’s wardrobe seems straightforward, the attention is in the details. The lineup features a stylish mix of colors and prints. Of course, we find plenty of pieces in primary colors such as white, black, and navy blue but also many articles in bright and bold red, orange, mustard, and green.

Another essential for pre-fall is Todd Snyder’s use of “the third piece,” meant to layer: something that is not quite a shirt nor a coat and that you can wear between them. In this category, the brand introduces light jackets that consist of soft, comfortable materials. Blazers and mechanic jackets make an appearance as well. The included menswear features fabrics such as linen, nylon, and merino wool feature as the perfect approach to mild weather and transitioning into fall.
