The designer of Closed womenswear, Sophia Lewis, has enlisted the help of a longtime friend and stylist, Michael Philouze, for a unique collaboration. The two partner on a spring-summer 2022 unisex collection. The Closed x Philouze “Style Beyond Gender” collection, which will debut on April 22, 2022, will have seventeen items inspired by nineties fashion trends.

Closed x Philouze Capsule Collection

The Closed x Philouze collection delves into important issues in young people’s lives today. These points of concern include everything from environmental sustainability to providing a safe place for gender-neutral expression. Philouze and Lewis use the decade of the 1990s to contrast the styles of the time and now, demonstrating that style transcends gender.

Sporty and relaxed shapes define the Closed x Philouze range. For the collection’s campaign, the models wear various designs that are not limited to one gender, such as slip dresses, denim shirts, and tanks. Meanwhile, the eco-denim, organic cotton chinos, and recycled nylon jackets in the collection allude to sustainability’s importance.
