Country TidingsBalmain Homme warms up to the country charms of Ford model Paolo Anchisi for their spring 2012 efforts, photographed as usual by Karim Sadli. With art direction by Atelier Franck Durand, Paolo is caught in the cross-hairs of simple country living and the draw of the city as he dons designer Olivier Rousteing’s first collection for the label. Pulled together with an evolving style that easily makes the transition from casual to formal, Balmain Homme’s new range evokes the sophistication of an evening out with a white tuxedo, while drawing in the edge of its youthful image with textured leathers. Paired with denim, sleeveless waistcoats and jackets alike, Balmain Homme comes full circle for spring, showcasing impressive offerings, making for a stellar debut from Rousteing.
