New Direction–GANT has announced the appointment of designer Christopher Bastin as creative director of all their lines. Bastin’s official duties begin on August 1, 2012. Originally employed in 2005 as GANT’s lead shirt designer, in 2009, Bastin became head of design for GANT Rugger. Bastin will oversee the creative direction of all of GANT’s lines with Michael Bastian continuing his collaboration with the label on Gant by Michael Bastian.
