The Sea Project–Iconic brand Sperry Top-Sider delivers The Sea Project, collaborating with up and coming artists for fashion projects and other creative outlets. Holding a photography contest this year #mypassionforthesea, utilizing Instagram, Sperry is looking for fan-submitted photography for a San Francisco exhibit (September 12-15, 2013) and limited edition book that will come out in September. The contest, which is currently running ends July 31, 2013. Ten winners will be selected via a judging panel while fan votes will determine an additional two. Winners will receive one pair of Sperry’s, a mention in Hypebeast, the #mypassionforthesea book and a limited edition tote and t-shirt set. Additionally, the non-profit Ocean Conservancy will receive a portion of the book sale proceeds.
