Me Against the World–Designer Daniel Palillo champions the notorious slacker for his spring/summer 2014 collection. All about the short working day and more time for relaxing, Palillo’s bold graphic designs call for some downtime with music. The designer explains, “You just need to find your music.” For Palillo, his music is the city of New York. Here, Palillo’s ghoulish approach to fashion is married with prints and applied to his signature oversized silhouettes. From baggy shorts to the loosely cut t-shirt, comfort is easy to identify, but Palillo also tries his hand at suiting with a tongue in cheek double-breasted number.
