Perennial Aussie favorite Ksubi recently created a striking installation at Tokyo store Cannabis. True to their outlandish sense of presentation, their “home away from home” featured eye-catching designs along the length of its blue plastic walls. Conceptually, the work references a tension between material comfort and a desire for simplicity. It takes its inspiration from the temporary shelters erected by the Japanese homeless. The structure was later used to host Ksubi’s first pop-up store.
