I’ve never really liked short sleeved button downs. They just rub me the wrong way. I think it’s the way the majority of guys tend to wear them. It’s more than just throwing on a t-shirt, yet it looks plain sloppy most of the time. I’m talking about the guys who wear cargo shorts, button downs, and flip flops. I just cringed. But that’s besides the point. My mind is not made up and I’m starting to warm to the idea of short sleeved button downs. I like the colorways of Original Sins’ shirts, the collar, and the styling. The rolling of the sleeves is a nice touch. Rolling is such a useful styling tool. Style Tip: If you haven’t already, in winter trying wearing different layers and rolling the sleeves at different lengths.

But what do you mean by your style tip.. I’m not clear on that. Maybe you could post something about it giving an example?

What he means is like.. when you roll up your sleeves you could put it at elbow length like most people do.. or you could roll it up even more up towards the shoulders like i do.. really gives you a different look, with such a small fixture.

That’s exactly what I mean when it comes to short sleeved button downs. When it comes to layering in the winter, here is an example:
You take a thin long sleeved tee. This is your base layer. Then you put on a button down, sweater, coat, etc. Starting from the top layer ie: coat, you roll the sleeves back as far back as desired. Then you roll back the remaining layers, always rolling on top of the previous layer. Get it? I’ll post a picture this weekend if it is still hard to picture.
