Faith Connexion sets up a big tent for fall-winter 2016 and the grand show is the brand’s latest menswear collection. Taking inspiration from the circus, Faith Connexion’s modern affection for grunge style is front and center with a mix of patterns, graffiti prints and oversized proportions. Mirroring clowns, models don faces of makeup for the label’s lookbook, which presents the fall lineup in a quirky fashion.
Just like a t-shirt reads “Have Fun”, the collection brings precisely that sentiment to fashion. Embracing a youthful spirit, stars and stripes cover leather shoes as well as the timeless parka. Denim is distressed and slouchy, simple tees are comically executed larger than life and trendy items such as overalls are morphed into wearable shorts. Among a cool selection of leather biker jackets, boxy tops, voluminous coats and fringe adorned jackets, asymmetrical blazers and top coats add a tailored sentiment, but not without great attitude.
