When it comes to their latest collection, Junk de Luxe has a relaxing Scandinavian summer in mind. Entitled “Casual Dissidents”, their spring/summer 2010 collection looks to a preppy youth influenced by a retro sense of American sportswear. Pairing casual silhouettes with a generally soft color palette, Junk de Luxe transitions from straight-laced khakis and vests to laid-back tees. Carefree and unassuming, the range encompasses an all-accessible youthful outing.

  1. im reading your blog from the start and fashion gone rogue for a long time now, im also subscribed to both of ur RSS feeds, besides you two i also have 30 more fashion blogs in the feed.

I appreciate the content but last few weeks you two are sending out so many stories its turning into SPAM, now when i open my RSS all i see is fashionisto and fashiongone rogue,

I don't wanna stop following your great work but maybe you should at least pass on the stories already posted on thefashionspot its becoming hard to follow. just my 2 cents

  3. Hi Mikel,

I appreciate your feedback, but there is no set amount of posts other than I usually update at least twice a day. The beginning of seasons are always hectic as a majority of content comes out at once. Just wait until this weekend when Milan Fashion Week begins. Content is selected for variety and relevance. If there is too much, a lot of time is spent putting everything into categories, so you can browse at your own time, whether it is campaigns, lookbooks, runway reviews, etc. If it is still too much, I guess The Fashionisto is just not your cup of tea.

  5. disappointing. i think i agree about F/W being so, so much better.

nothing grabs me, but i guess that’s this whole pastel colours craze.

  7. I'm always a bit disappointed in Spring/Summer collections by Junk de Luxe – I mean, compared to what they do for Fall/Winter. No exception here – but the atmosphere in these pictures makes me dream of warmer days… or at least without snow and more sun!
