The Fashionisto: You starred in the Marc by Marc Jacobs campaign this past fall. How was it like working with Juergen Teller…was Marc Jacobs on set for the shoot?
Yuri Pleskun: It was great and an honor to work with Juergen Teller, especially because he chose to shoot in my apartment. And, no, I believe Marc Jacobs had more important things to do than getting robbed in the Bronx.
TF: So, when was your first shoot exactly?
YP: I don’t exactly remember.
TF: Do you have a personal interest in fashion?
YP: Now that I think about it, I guess I’m a fashionisto…I have been turned out.
TF: If you were not modeling, what would you be doing now?
YP: Probably still doing high-rise window washing or construction.
TF: Have you been recognized in public? What happened?
YP: Just by Cole Mohr. Haha.
TF: Last question…frequent any websites?
YP: I’m hardly on the computer, but when I do get a chance, I’m obsessed with facebook games. They’re the reason I gave into the hype and made myself one.
