Famous for bringing designers together and giving them the opportunity to reinterpret classics, Topman turns their attention to the trench coat this season. Employing Mihara Yasuhiro, B Blessing, Alister Mackie and Tim Soar, the trench coat finds modern footing in five distinct styles. Photographed by Brett Lloyd and styled by Mackie himself, Pawel Bednarek and Thomas Penfound take the special collection for a test spin.

Who think like I, that Topman's design is the most innovative & surprising. I tend to find Topman's clothes are rather overpriced – they are really low quality – but I would really like to try this coat and Alister Mackie's. I like the clean lines of the latter & the construction reminds me of Thierry Mugler's work.
