Based and produced out of Los Angeles, Roark is a new label from best friends Andrew Steiger and Chris Allison. Extremely nonchalant and eclectic, Roark was founded with the general consensus to create a label with many references. Not dedicated to a concrete look or complicated story one needs to understand, Roark aims to make a varied array of garments that people not only want to wear, but fit within their lifestyle–not the other way around. As Steiger expressed when talking about fall’s collection, “The mindset is experimental and progressive–it encourages a wide range of folks to explore what in our collection best works for them, personally. I think Roark has many faces, and the guy that wears the grey alpaca sweater is not the same guy that wears the strap collar leather jacket. But the beauty of what we’re doing is that we are saying that it’s OK for you to be whoever you want. We are not interested in coaxing you into buying a specific brand image.” And with those words, Roark delves into an effective fall season, where their man is provided with many stylish options, ranging from deconstructed knits and elongated shirting to relaxed denim.

  5. @ mits."this stuff stands up on it's own"? please : combining loose drop crotch pants/ asymetric zippers on hoody /high collar leather jacket/ pointed ending jacket front, etc. should I go on? all long known Rick Owens signature elements. being inspired is one thing, cheap ripping off is another
