Clean Cut–Focusing on a minimal and essential sense of style, A.P.C. delivers a fall 2013 collection inspired by the British prep aesthetic, updated in a more contemporary way, and contaminated by a hint of military influence. Playing with slim and clean silhouettes, the collection is faithful to the brand’s signature essential aesthetic, that favors a wearable wardrobe instead of eccentric styles. Opting for a minimal palette of colors, the fall collection combines few prints, like camouflage, stripes and checks, preferring plain colors, that perfectly adapt to a selection of looks conceived to overtake seasonal trends. From double-breasted jackets to slim shirts and trousers, the collection’s key-pieces are definitely the outerwear numbers, available in a large selection of shapes, colors and textures, that have in common clean lines and volumes and minimal details. Updating the concept of Less is More, A.P.C. ventures on a risky field, avoiding the risk to create anonymous garments.
