Fake Normal–Swedish label Acne enlists model Dylan Fosket for the new lookbook reveal of their spring/summer 2014 collection. Street culture, music and art inspire the collection which blends several decades together for what the label calls “fake normal style”. While the 1950s are explored with fantastic coats in a lightweight summer tweed, the 1970s are a bold hit with linen suits accented with gold and silver. Meanwhile leather jackets reflect the 1960s and cashmere sweaters pull Acne’s overall look together with a 1990s grunge reference. Overall featuring exaggerated proportions, seen in wide-cut trousers or slim shorts, the collection makes a definite statement, finally paying an homage to Swedish artist Hilma af Klint with artwork on scarves, shirts and more.
