Swedish brand Acne Studios links up with surfer Robin Kegel for its spring-summer 2016 campaign. The perfect fit for the advertisement’s star, Kegel created graphic prints for the label’s collection, adopting his surfboard designs for Acne Studios’ jumpsuits and cashmere sweaters. Photographed by David Sims at his studio in Biarritz, Kegel is a quirky vision in stylish sunglasses, patterned suits and fearless jumpsuits.

Discussing the campaign outing, Acne Studios creative director Jonny Johansson shared, “I’m obsessed with surfing, and have long admired Robin and his aesthetic. The campaign images were shot in Robin’s studio in Biarritz with David Sims, who is also a surfer. We spent some wonderful days there, both surfing and creating the campaign.”

Acne Studios Spring/Summer 2016 Highlights
Acne Studios embraces an androgynous 1970s attitude for its spring-summer 2016 men’s collection. Bold, relaxed numbers like the range’s jumpsuits call to mind the image of trendsetter David Bowie. Not to go unnoticed, the collection of fashion-forward separates also serves graphic prints for jumpsuits and sweaters, courtesy of surfer Robin Kegel.
