For Burberry, the animal realm has the potential to be a source of inspiration for a contemporary narrative. “Through this vivid mythological metaphor, we delve into the story of someone leaping into the unknown, overcoming challenges and transforming into something new, while remaining true to himself,” the fashion house says.

Burberry Hero Eau de Parfum is a mix of deep sensuality and vigorous intensity. Pine needles, benzoin, and incense fill the air as the scent begins. Meanwhile, a warm trio of cedarwood oils make up the base and are supposed to evoke the smell of a forest growing near the ocean.
Perfumer Aurélien Guichard discusses the inspiration for Burberry Hero Eau de Parfum, recalling the “memory of the Landes forest, where pine trees grow close to the ocean.” Guichard explains, “The scent of the pine needles melted with a trail of warm sand, and sea spray was the aroma I wanted to recreate. For me, the sensual and crystallized resins included in the fragrance represent the power of reconnecting with your natural instinct.”
