Raf Simons collaborates with Adidas on a pair of hi-top shoes called the RS Detroit High. The spring-summer 2019 style takes inspiration from Simons’ clash of interests, which include 1970s glam rock and mid-century haute couture. Available at select retailers January 24, 2019, the shoes elevate the Adidas Detroit Runner. A thick tread outsole and curvilinear midsole come together with an opaque rubberized upper. Simons adds his unique stamp with a “punkette” patch and haute couture-inspired label that reads “Raf Simons Antwerp SS 2019.”
