Alexander McQueen continues to display its strong suit in tailoring for fall-winter 2016.

Models at Alexander McQueen were a gruesome sight as they took to the catwalk with safety pin piercings that cut through the cheek. One of the highlights of London Collections: Men, Alexander McQueen presented its fall-winter 2016 men’s collection with a Victorian Gothic leaning.

Approaching the season, the brand’s creative director Sarah Burton embraced sharp, classic tailoring and a penchant for dark graphics. Juxtaposed with a somber spin on romance, long overcoats and trim suiting were paired with cropped crewneck sweaters and longline dress shirts for quite the vision. A glimmer of butterfly prints, rich brocades, sequined embellishments and floral patterns added unique character to the dramatic outing.
