Alexander McQueen unveils its spring-summer 2022 campaign. Art directed by M/M Paris, the advertisement effortlessly embodies the British fashion house’s newest menswear collection. William Blake, an English poet, painter, and printmaker, is the season’s muse.
Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2022 Campaign
Alexander McQueen looks to William Blake for inspiration, drawing upon a concept of the imagination as a pure form of escapism. The idea translates into a dance of lightness, air, and water with a culmination of the beauty that emerges from the darkness. Alexander McQueen makes a graphic splash with prints from William Blake’s Illustrations to Dante’s “Divine Comedy,” Beatrice Addressing Dante from the Car (1824-7).
