Alexander McQueen’s New Man–Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton presented a simple and sleek vision for the spring/summer 2013 season, relying on suiting in silk and prints to get her point of view across. Calm in retrospect, the collection exuded the energy of a wild child matured. Silhouettes were semi-relaxed and outside suiting, sportswear provided a hint of edge with oversized leather outerwear, contrasted against a prevailing theme of the season, pajamas taken into a formal light, specifically dolling out silk as shirting and trousers for a new luxury.
