t is hard to believe that Julia and Ben are only showing their third collection. The Germany-based design duo have created a mature collection that has an organic feeling of evolution from one piece to the next. Gentle fragile-thin knits are nicely contrasted with dark bold graphic prints. It would appear that these two elements would not go together, but somehow they strike a peaceful harmony with each other. The graphic prints provide a vital masculine edge to soft understated knits. If being sad is accompanied by a guarantee to be outfitted in Julia and Ben, then we all need a dose this fall.
