Andrea Pompilio revisits his first trip to New York City in the late 90s for the inspiration of his spring-summer 2017 collection. Relaxed proportions are key to the range with an eclectic mixing of patterns. Vertical and horizontal stripes are juxtaposed for a playful attitude. Slouchy knits, paper bag waist pants, Cuban collared shirts, track jackets and wide-cut denim pants are in great abundance.

Mirroring the melting pot that is Manhattan, Pompilio mixes cheeky elements for spring. Sportcoats with oversized buttons and sweatshirts with slogans such as “Who the f**k is Andrea Pompilio?” come together for the occasion. Patterns are also remixed for fun separates that range from a colorful, multi-striped jumper to lightweight colorblocked jackets. Complementing striped oxford shirts and laid-back denim, Pompilo’s collection is rounded out by gingham outerwear.
