Fashion on Film–Australian model Andrej Pejic has landed a role in an upcoming film based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale of The Little Mermaid. Indiewire that Pejic will play the part of ‘Sister No. 4’, likely not a large role but one that will undoubtedly allow the male model, who now goes by her, to deliver a performance that plays to the same strengths she displays in her catwalk appearances modeling women’s clothing. Sofia Coppola, Oscar-winning director of The Bling Ring and Lost in Translation, is set to helm the film.
